World Road Congress 2027 Code of Conduct
The World Road Congress 2027 (WRC 2027) is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, safe, and professional environment for all participants at the Congress and all related activities.
This Code of Conduct applies to all Congress spaces and interactions, including technical sessions, meetings, workshops, exhibitions, social events, technical tours, networking activities, and all associated online platforms and communications.
Expected Conduct
All attendees, including delegates, speakers, presenters, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, suppliers, staff, and guests, are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
Participants should engage in constructive dialogue and demonstrate respect for diverse perspectives. While it is not expected that participants will agree with all viewpoints encountered at the Congress, it is expected that ideas are expressed in a professional and respectful manner that invites conversation rather than confrontation.
Participants are expected to ensure that all presentations and contributions properly acknowledge knowledge sources and intellectual property. Plagiarism is not permissible.
Respect, Inclusion, and Personal Conduct
WRC 2027 values a global community and recognizes that participants come from a wide range of cultural, professional, and personal backgrounds. All participants are expected to uphold these standards regardless of differences.
Harassment, discrimination, racism, bigotry, intimidation, stalking, unwelcome physical contact, or any form of disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
All participants are expected to respect personal boundaries and obtain consent in their interactions with others.
Professional and Technical Environment
WRC 2027 is an international forum for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and respectful exchange across the road and transportation sector.
Participants are expected to contribute to a professional environment that supports learning, innovation, discussion, and collaboration.
While discussion of public policy, infrastructure, transportation, sustainability, safety, and related matters may be part of the Congress program, political or religious campaigning is not appropriate within Congress sessions or events.
Recording, Photography, and Media
Unauthorized audio or video recording and distribution of Congress sessions, meetings, presentations, exhibitions, posters, technical tours, or event content is not permitted without prior consent of the Congress organizers.
Participants are expected to respect the privacy of others. Photography or recording of individuals, presentations, posters, exhibits, or activities should only occur with appropriate permission.
WRC 2027 or its agents may film, photograph, or record audio throughout the Congress. By registering for and attending WRC 2027, participants acknowledge that filming, photography, or audio recording may take place during the Congress.
Digital Conduct
Expectations for respectful conduct extend to all digital and online Congress spaces, including conference apps, chat platforms, livestreams, virtual sessions, email communications, and social media interactions associated with the event.
Participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally in all digital environments.
Enforcement and Reporting
Session chairs, moderators, Congress organizers, and designated event staff are authorized to interrupt and stop any inappropriate or disruptive behavior and may ask the offending individual to leave the meeting space, session, or event area.
Concerns regarding violations of this Code of Conduct should be reported to Congress organizers. Reports may be made in person at the registration or information desk or through designated Congress communication channels. Urgent safety concerns should be reported immediately to on-site staff, venue security, or local authorities where appropriate.
WRC 2027 will make reasonable efforts to handle reports confidentially where possible. Anonymous reporting options may be provided.
WRC 2027 prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports a concern in good faith or participates in the review of a report.

WRC 2027 reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of this Code of Conduct. Actions may include, but are not limited to:
